When I was a kid, I attended my first comic book convention. And at one of the tables was a couple guys who would draw you any superhero you wanted, but they'd draw it in a very cartoony style and in a funny situation. Five minutes later I had myself the best cartoon drawing of "Iron Man, The Golden Avenger, and his eject-a-potty," which showed Iron Man hovering in mid-air trying to look inconspicuous as a tin can popped out from his bum. I still have that drawing, and the influence of these guys and their funny take on superheroes has stuck with me ever since, evidence seen in this cartoon of Captain America, caught (figuratively and accurately) with his pants down by his arch nemesis, The Red Skull.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a very excellent, very humorous piece. The details really sell it, such as Captain America having toilet paper that looks like the American flag, and the Red Skull plugging his ears when he's about to shoot. The expressions are also great; Captain's face is perfect (it reminds me of the faces Daffy would make when he was about to be shot by Elmer Fudd). Jay Fosgitt's cartoony style really helps the gag translate well. It's almost like Gary Larson's The Far Side. A very impressive, very funny effort. Keep up the good work, Jay Fosgitt! Very good stuff!
