First off, let me say that this isn't a commentary, per se. I don't feel these guys have done anything so outlandish that requires lampooning here. I am, however, artistically drawn to the sever height difference in the couple. You see so many pics of them with her squatting down with her head on his shoulder, and you just know it's to draw attention away from him being shorter than her. So I thought it'd be cute to draw it as if her were her little boy, with her holding his hand as if they were about to cross the street or something. I think Holmes is a beautiful girl, so caricaturing her was a trick. I focused on her smiling eyes, pouty smirk and cute little jug ears. On Cruise, I focused on his messy "I'm trying to still look like I'm twenty" haircut, his toothy grin, squinty eyes and handsome yet sizable nose. I pulled this caricature together pretty easily, unlike most of my celeb pics that take several tries and often never reach my satisfaction, and I'm actually quite proud of it.

You got Katie's crooked smile down. XD I just love Tom, though.

Good things take a while.
To be honest, I never really liked Tom Cruise except for a few select movies, but you really nailed his smile there.

Good job with Holmes and Stanley Kubrick's killer.

The walls in the mall are teetelly teetelly tall. Fer sure.
I can't stop looking at Cruise's face. That just draws your attention in this. You did a great job.

always interesting to see your take on celebs because of your very simplified line :) I think this one is generally good, Katie Holmes is spot on, whereas Cruise could be more obvious. Then again, you always see him portraied from the side because it makes it easier to make his... prominent nose stand out. interesting take on these two, gotta love the "going-to-the-prom" look :D
