This started off as a black and white digital commission for :icongeorgia-o-queef: who requested I draw Dudley Do-Right mistaking Bullwinkle for a horse. Because I'm a huge fan of the old "Rocky and Bullwinkle" cartoons, I fell in love with this drawing, and decided I had to color it up. I did a simple digital color background with a light film grain filter to replicate the look of the old cartoon backgrounds, then just colored the characters in a bold, flat palette, just as you would have seen them in their heyday.
