who asked me to draw Mickey, Donald and Goofy from their 1936 animated short, "Lonesome Ghosts". I took some liberties with this piece. Obviously it's filtered through my style, so it's intentionally not entirely on model. I also tweaked the weapons they're carrying--in the original cartoon, Mickey's carrying the shot gun, Goofy as an axe, and Donald has a net. I thought it would be funnier for Donald to have a board with nails in it, and Goofy to wield a chainsaw. A fun piece to create, with subject matter that i very rarely attempt. I'll probably color this sometime down the road.

There should be four layers, one for the solid outline, one for the background, one for Mickey, Donald and Goofy and one final one for the ghost. Then I fade the ghost's layer back for the faded effect.
And should the layers be on normal, multiply or something else?
