I imagine most of you people have seen this already, since many of you watch :icondocshaner: as well as me. But this is a Tintin/Jonny Quest piece was did together for :iconlila89:. :icondocshaner: encouraged me to post this, so I will. But I'll leave it to him to describe it (taken from :icondocshaner:'s page):

"As you can probably figure for yourself, this is one is Tintin vs. Jonny Quest, including their respective cohorts. Jay was asked to draw Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, and some goofy contraption they're going after. Jay designed the background and comp of this as well. I drew Jonny, Bandit, and Race, then ink washed and colored this sucker. This was a tough one because there is just so much going on, but I was glad to take on the challenge. Strange enough, Jay and I had just started something the week before which looked somewhat like this, which I'm still working on."

Pencils and inks on Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, machine, and background- Jay Fosgitt :iconfourpanelhero:
Pencils and inks on Jonny Quest, Race Bannon, and Bandit, and colors on entire piece: Evan Shaner :icondocshaner:

Thank you. This was my first time working with the Tintin characters, and I felt surprisingly comfortable drawing them.

Wow, I'm a big fan of the Tintin series, and I have to say that Hergé would be proud- nice work on your half of the collab, Jay. I never really got into the Johnny Quest cartoon, but Evan's take has sort of a Mike Mignola-meets-Erik Larsen feel. Awesome job, you two!

Thanks! I only had a surface level knowledge of Tintin (I was spelling it Tin Tin until very recently), but when we were given this commission, I immediately felt more akin to Herge's style, and begged Evan to let me have those characters. Evan's a HUGE JQ fan, so it look very little persuasion!
