BLOG UPDATE 10/31/12: My Halloween blog post has risen from the grave!!! [link]
____________________________________________________________________________
$10 COMMISSION DRIVE IS OPEN AGAIN! ANYTHING YOU WANT DRAWN IS FAIR GAME!, As usual, here are the rules:

*The first ten people who note me here on DA (or e-mail me at: fourpanelhero@hotmail.com) with a suggestion to draw, AND send me payment for it, will be put on the list and have their request honored.
*For just $10, I will draw anything you request, and will e-mail you a black and white digital file of the artwork. Please be sure to send me a link to some reference images.
*Be sure to give me your e-mail address so I can send you the art when it's done.
*You CAN request more than one character in a single drawing. Just know that it is $10 per character.
*You CAN request more than one drawing.
*Elaborate backgrounds are an extra $10
*Your request will NOT be locked in until I receive payment. Do NOT just write me with a request and assume your spot is saved. It's first pay, first serve. I accept PayPal, and you can access my account at:
fourpanelhero@hotmail.com
*When sending me notification that your payment has been sent to my PayPal, please include your REAL NAME as well as your DA handle, and the name of the cartoon character you've paid me to draw.
*THIS OFFER DOES NOT INCLUDE ORIGINAL ART--JUST DIGITAL FILES! I needed to make that clear since there's been confusion in the past.
*These commissions are only $10 per character--a very good, affordable, reasonable deal. So any requests for me to go back and change a drawing in any way will require an additional $10.
*I DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT I WILL POST YOUR COMMISSION IN MY GALLERY! It's nothing personal. You are more than welcome to post anything I draw for you on your own page. Just be sure to give me credit for the line work (and if it's a drawing of my characters, credit at their creator), and put in a link to my DA page.

NOTE: It may take me a month to complete these. But rest assured, I will get them to you, and I always leave my customers satisfied. So what're you waiting for? Send me those requests before the list gets filled!

Oh, Jay, I also wanted to mention your costume looked awesome! As did your wife's costume, I remember you mentioning your costume plans on your sketch show a few weeks back and they came out great, you should wear it all the time :P Kidding.

How was Halloween?
Mine was kinda bland, I never went to sleep, just stayed up all night and watched all the Halloween movies (the good ones, not the remakes), finished off by watching one of my favorites, Halloween 4: Return of Michael Meyers

That sounds fun, James! Watching horror flicks is the perfect Halloween activity! We went for a walk around our neighborhood to check out the trick or treaters, and to walk past a haunted house that was being put on. We did catch one horror flick, but it was bottom of the barrel--the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead, directed my makeup artist Tom Savini. Tom's a decent makeup artist, but his work on these zombies was pitiful, and his direction was abysmal. George Romero shouldn't have allowed him to remake a classic. That said, I LOVE Return of The Living Dead (1984), a sequel made by Romero's producer on the first film. It's amazing and very scary. And I really like Zack Snyder's remake of Dawn of the Dead. Very solid piece of film making.

My favor towards horror films varies, sometimes I am very unforgiving.
I recently watched a relatively new film, an indy-horror film Warriors of Terra, using cheap and boring CGI, bad acting, the best things it had going for it were scene/set design and one really funny line about a spray paint can.
As for Halloween 4, I was very pleased to see the same director from John Carpenters first Halloween, Moustapha Akkad directing this sequel.

I never did much care for haunted houses, so many places I've been have been actually haunted it kind of makes the attraction of a fake one less glamorous or scary, although there was a funny one in Canada connected to a Burger King featuring a Frankenstein monster eating a cheeseburger, the two signs actually connected so you would see a haunted house sign conjoined with the sign for Burger King

Glad you had a good time at the con with the Bills, and when you saw your creation come to life. Also, it's cute how you and your lovely wife both paid tribute to Where the Wild Things Are. She looks great, and that tail hanging from your costume is too funny.

Nice to know you've got your priorities in order re. the time of the streaming video and chat. I'm sure your regulars understand the time change.

Love the two Necronomicomics panels. Any chance Linus will use Pumpkinhead to get Lucy to stop bullying him? Also, the adult joke with the Headless Horseman is too funny. H.H. in the Disney version of Sleepy Hollow was scary-awesome to me as a kid, and it still is now. Bonus from me: "The Legend of the Headless Rider," by Mercyful Fate [link]

Happy Halloween!

Wish I could have made that one. You and Laura are a scream.

The headless gag left me gasping. Good one!

I get the headless joke but that is me, I know obscure writings and odd stories that even a lot of my college professors don't know about. :P

To be honest, with Halloween just a day away, I am thinking up monster commissions.

I love DD and ZC, I love all your creations but I grew up on horror movies and this time of year always brings nostalgia for me.

I would love monster commissions, as always!

Yeah but the real question is which monster?
I know thousands, from horror movie monsters to monsters from myth/legend.
