DEAD DUCK UPDATE: The finale of THE DOGMA OF DEAD DUCK is here! [link]
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

$10 COMMISSION DRIVE IS OPEN AGAIN! ANYTHING YOU WANT DRAWN IS FAIR GAME!, As usual, here are the rules:

*The first ten people who note me here on DA (or e-mail me at: fourpanelhero@hotmail.com) with a suggestion to draw, AND send me payment for it, will be put on the list and have their request honored.
*For just $10, I will draw anything you request, and will e-mail you a black and white digital file of the artwork. Please be sure to send me a link to some reference images.
*Be sure to give me your e-mail address so I can send you the art when it's done.
*You CAN request more than one character in a single drawing. Just know that it is $10 per character.
*You CAN request more than one drawing.
*Elaborate backgrounds are an extra $10
*Your request will NOT be locked in until I receive payment. Do NOT just write me with a request and assume your spot is saved. It's first pay, first serve. I accept PayPal, and you can access my account at:
fourpanelhero@hotmail.com
*When sending me notification that your payment has been sent to my PayPal, please include your REAL NAME as well as your DA handle, and the name of the cartoon character you've paid me to draw.
*THIS OFFER DOES NOT INCLUDE ORIGINAL ART--JUST DIGITAL FILES! I needed to make that clear since there's been confusion in the past.
*These commissions are only $10 per character--a very good, affordable, reasonable deal. So any requests for me to go back and change a drawing in any way will require an additional $10.
*I DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT I WILL POST YOUR COMMISSION IN MY GALLERY! It's nothing personal. You are more than welcome to post anything I draw for you on your own page. Just be sure to give me credit for the line work (and if it's a drawing of my characters, credit at their creator), and put in a link to my DA page.

NOTE: It may take me a month to complete these. But rest assured, I will get them to you, and I always leave my customers satisfied. So what're you waiting for? Send me those requests before the list gets filled!

This will NOT look good on DD's employment record! I guess JP decided to put a rush on the whole review process. And you know stuff is serious when DD shrugs off ZC's brain dropping. As far as ZC is concerned, this looks like a memory that she can blithely forget about in her scatterbrained way, but will surface at the least desirable moment later on.

Interesting note about The Who's Tommy. It's been ages since I've seen the movie, and I haven't listened to the whole record straight through like, say, The Wall. But I'm kind of familiar with that scene you mentioned, and in general with how creepy Tommy is in general.

When I first saw your DD/ZC pieces, I had no doubt that DD and ZC shared such a bond. It just took a story like this to show it off so emotionally.

I like how you used those two Indiana Jones movies for reference for the whole head-melting gore scene. The Nazis' faces (esp. the black-hatted Toht) melting near the end of Raiders was THE SHIT! when I was a kid (still is, really). Of course, Temple of Doom has so many cool gore scenes that blew everyone away, especially when you see it in a theater like I did back when.

A new wrinkle--is DD more than just a dutiful minion? Nice work.

I know this is a fairly important scene in the DD universe but seeing ZC's arm being positioned to almost pop back into place reminds me of a commercial I saw this morning for a make your own monster doll, basically lets kids assemble their own barbie-esque monster doll.
Sorry, don't mean to over-simplify your characters.

I think it's an apt comparison!

:iconhatescomputers:
It is :)
Product design compared to cartooning, not sure I'd ever think of that comparison any other time.

Hope you're having a good day Jay

Trying to. Kinda stressed with the amount of work I have to do, considering how little money I have to show for it.

I am sorry man :(
I know this isn't much of a sentiment but since many of your projects are your own, you could try that KickStarter project online, where you start a sort of art or other types of project, promote it through KickStarter and any other web page your on and anyone can donate, it has helped a lot of people working online and it could help you make some extra money and have money for projects like the one you're working on and more.
Sorry I am not of more help man :(

It's cool. I've been contemplating a Kickstarter project for awhile. Maybe I'll do a Necronomicomics book finally.

That would be awesome :)
Your necronomicomics are great

They've given me commission ideas like "top ten cliches or things not to do in a horror movie sitatuion" For example : If the lights are out, don't wander the house alone, take a shower or stand there shouting someones name, you paid the light bill so you know something bad is in the dark :P

I do wish you only the best of luck though, in any endeavor you may have.
Your artwork is great and I'd hate for you to stop sharing it with the world
