Love the Red Green reference, both here and in that one past piece. The PBS station in Tallahassee, run by Florida State University, used to show Red Green, which I would watch faithfully when I went there for college. Except for the flannel and the taped-up glasses (and about 70 pounds), I WAS the teenage Harold during high school! Harold always looked to me like one of the lost members of Devo.
The roadkill one is bitter-funny, since I lost my favorite cat Oreo to a car when I was growing up. Oddly enough, he was hit by a car while eating roadkill (an old habit of his when he was a stray). "Not on my watch!"--love that line.
The Anne Boleyn one is cute, and the Paul Bunyan one is great. Did any minions throw out their backs trying to carry John Candy or Chris Farley? Nice work and very informative.
I wanna be president of the Dead Duck Fan Club I would also like to open a committee to handle the ever growing popularity of Zombie Chick and a sub-committee to handle the ever growing popularity of Zombie Chick's breasts.
I see a 3d Peanuts movie going the way of Roger Rabbit 2. Much like the Simpsons, it's a critical darling and the style is such an integral part of Peanuts, there will be hell to pay from the general public unlike say.. Marmaduke or Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Wha...? Why for be jealous o' me, Mad Chadder? Just 'cause I'm doing my sketch show again? Hell, any dope with a web cam can do a sketch show (as I aim to prove)!
Well, we'll see how well the talking part goes. Now that I'll be working on actual assignments on the show rather than just doing arbitrary sketches, it may require more concentration than it previously did.
When I heard that news before reading your blog, I was thinking it was going to be something like what you described, if not worse, i.e. a CG/live action crap-fest a la The Smurfs.
Congratulations on bringing back your show, even with the hella busy schedule you have now.

I love this storyline of DD
